The DVD mini silence box is a rubber silencer box for slim line slot-in drives. The silence box absorbs vibration and noises and ensures a very quiet operation. The heat will be dissipated with copper plates to the outer heatsinks of the case.

Since the DVD Eject button is placed outside the drive, the DVD mini box provides an internal USB cable to connect to the DVD Eject button in the front. A small software ensures, that the drive opens and closes.
